Welcome to the Montana School of Taxidermy and Tanning
The Montana School of Taxidermy and Tanning can teach your to do business in todays diversified and independent market. That starts with good sound taxidermy training but it must go further than that. Tanning in-house gives you that competitive edge in todays market. Our tanning course, worked in with the rest of our curriculum, is second to none. Not only does it allow you to save thousands of dollars on your own tanning, but it also allows you to take in extra work by tanning for other taxidermists. Making your own forms, glue, maches, and jaw sets can also save you money in commercial taxidermy. Each class is shown how to sculpt a new form using references and death masks, and are required to make one fiberglass mold.
